Years ago, during a visit to Los Angeles, I tried matcha, the Japanese powdered green tea, for the first time. It happened at a charming café called Urth Caffé, which many people count among the best spots in the city. It was a sunny day with a gentle cold breeze, the kind where the sun’s rays feel just right on your skin. Holding that warm cup of matcha, I felt a unique sense of comfort.
What made the day extra special was the people I met. Fellow travellers from different parts of the world were enjoying the café too. We shared stories, laughter and the simple joy of being in the moment. That experience showed me that a café is much more than a place for coffee; it’s a meeting point of journeys, cultures and memories.
