What are your favorite animals?
To be honest, I’m not a big animal person. But if I had to choose just three, here are my picks, each one meaningful in its own way.
1. Lion:
Let’s start with the obvious king. Lions have been called the “king of the jungle” for centuries, celebrated not just for their power but for their majestic presence and aura of leadership. It’s not only the mane like a royal crown. Lions represent strength, courage and a quiet sense of authority that’s impossible to ignore.

2. Monkeys:
Monkeys are endlessly fascinating to me. As fellow primates, they’re our distant cousins, and we share a lot: intelligence, adaptability, even a sense of humour. Studying primates has taught scientists a great deal about how we think and how we evolved. I love that they’re not just playful; they remind us of our own origins and the continuous journey of growth and change.

3. Scorpion:
Okay, maybe the scorpion isn’t an animal in the usual sense (it’s an arachnid, a cousin of spiders), but I find them intriguing. Scorpions are packed with symbolism in many cultures: resilience, survival, transformation and protection. To me, a scorpion is a bit of sunshine, not just because of its desert home, but because it stands for getting through tough environments while staying strong and resourceful.

Why These Choices Matter
We all have favourites for different reasons; some come from childhood, stories or random moments of inspiration. For me, these creatures stand for the qualities I aspire to: strength, growth, adaptability and the courage to thrive even in adversity.
Sometimes our choices say more about our values than we realise.
