How do you use social media?
I do not really use Facebook or Instagram anymore. A while ago, I realized that I was spending too much time on those apps just doom scrolling, and honestly, that did not feel healthy or productive.
That moment became a kind of self-discovery for me. When I checked my screen time, I saw how much of my day was going into scrolling without really learning anything new. It made me think about how I wanted to use my time more intentionally.
So I made a change. I shifted toward platforms like Medium and WordPress, where I can read meaningful thoughts from other people and also share my own ideas. For me, that feels like a better use of social media because it adds perspective instead of just taking up time.
I believe social media should influence us in a positive way. If something is valuable, it should help us grow, think differently, or express ourselves better. That is exactly what I found when I stepped away from endless scrolling and started engaging with content that felt more thoughtful and useful.
